She was baptised and married in the name of Jemima. It was thought possible that Alicia and Jemima could have been twins and that Alicia died, but no record of birth for Jemima could be found - only Alicia, and no death record for Alicia. So it seems the only other explanation is that the parents simply had a change of mind.
